We offer various types of incoming numbers which enable mobile users to send incoming messages to your organisation. Incoming messages for all types of number can be forwarded to you by email, or as HTTP requests directly to your server/web site.
ShortcodeGenerally this will be a 5 digit number. Shortcodes can be used to receive SMS without any Premium rate charges. Shortcodes are Country specific (e.g. only mobile users on a UK network can send to a UK Shortcode).
FreeTEXT ShortcodeThis type of Shortcode enables the mobile user to text your organisation at no cost to them, instead you are charged for each message received.
Virtual Long Number – UKThese look similar to a standard 11 digit UK mobile number and can be accessed internationally. Also known as MSISDN. These numbers provide a high message through put.
Virtual Long Number – Various CountriesSimilar to the above, local numbers can be provided for specific destinations, for example, an organisation in Spain may wish to have a number prefixed with +34.
SIM Hosting – Various CountriesWith this service you source a SIM with one of the local networks and we port the SIM and number on to our robust platform. This provides a high throughput service and is highly reliable. Management of the SIM is your responsibility.
Auto RepliesWe can arrange for 'Auto Reply SMS' to be sent in response to incoming messages. This service is free of charge, you would simply pay standard costs for the out-bound SMS.
